The IM4200 is the most advanced console server platform available today. In one secure package, we have developed an out of band management solution for serial console ports, servers, virtual servers, service processors, UPS & PDU's, environmental monitoring and more. The IM4200 family of advanced console servers enables system administrators to securely access and control their data centers and networks from anywhere in the world. The IM4200 is equipped with a built in modem, dual Ethernet, dual power (AC or DC), 16 gigs USB flash and runs on Linux for scalability and reduced downtime. 

The IM4200 offers advanced software features to go beyond the requirements of the most demanding applications. Features include Network UPS Tools for UPS monitoring; PowerMan for integrated PDU control; Pattern match alerting; Open access to the shell for scripting; Heartbeat monitor with automatic failover; Flexible pinouts and much more. Available in 8, 16 and 48 port models, the IM4200 advanced console servers are the perfect fit for in band or out of band access to vital IT assets. 

Secure
The IM4200 family uses an embedded FIPS140-2 cryptographic module that has been validated and has received Certificate #1051. The IM4200 family also employs IPsec VPN for advanced security to meet the most demanding applications.

16 Gig USB Flash Drive for TFTP Server
Store local copies of router and switch config files on our 16gig USB flash for disaster recovery. Make backups of existing configurations before making changes. So if you break it you can simply roll back the config.

Store offline logs on our USB flash to provide an audit trail. We log both the serial ports and the available networks to provide syslog, keylogging and a .pcap file for wireshark.

Pattern Match Alerting
Ensure uptime by proactively scanning the serial stream on the console ports for specific errors or phrases. We monitor the traffic on the serial port and will watch for user defined patterns or phrases and send alerts via SMS text or email based on pattern match.

Hotkey Power on RPS/PDU
Imagine a communications device in a remote site is entirely locked up. Frozen. With Out of Band access you can connect via SSH or telnet. Then hotkey to our power menu and check power status, power cycle, turn off or on. We support thousands of PDU/UPS models, both serial and SNMP connected units.
